If you decorate with candles regularly, pearl candles save you time and money.
The product contains
- White Lumea wax pearls, 5 kg or 10 kg as you prefer.
- 120 wicks for 5 kg and 240 wicks for 10 kg, each burning about 12 hours. Relight the same wick or replace it to refresh your pearl candle.
- A scoop for your convenience.
Refillable, with no wax wasted
The wax pearls burn without leaving residue stuck to the bottom. The container empties, rinses out and can be reused indefinitely.
Which container to use
Use a container designed to hold a candle: tempered or borosilicate glass, glazed ceramic, or metal. Every container sold by Lumea Deco is suitable.
The container must be intact, with no crack or chip, stable, flat-bottomed, and its walls must be high enough to hold all the melted wax.
Do not use a repurposed food jar, a drinking glass, a plastic or wooden container, or any cracked, chipped or unstable container. The glass of a food jar is not designed for heat and can break while the candle burns.
Always place the container on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface.
Scenting your pearls
Neutral candle, with no added fragrance. Fragrance is mixed into the wax pearls before lighting, never on or around the wick and never in a lit candle.
Pour the pearls into your container, add the fragrance, stir to spread it evenly, then place the wick and light it.
Never pour fragrance onto a lit candle or onto wax that is still hot.
Warnings
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
- Keep away from anything flammable: curtains, paper, textiles, plants.
- Burn on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface.
- Do not move a container while the wax is molten.
- Never add fragrance to a lit candle.
Burning time
Burn time varies depending on how you use your candle: the number of wicks lit at the same time, whether you relight the same wick or replace it to refresh your candle, and the length of each burn. Each wick provides between 10 and 12 hours of flame, depending on its type (cotton or wood). Thanks to its wax pearls, Lumea burns more slowly than conventional candles: allow for up to approximately 220 hours of burn time for the 500 g size and up to approximately 440 hours for the 1 kg size, considerably longer than most candles.

What is a pearl candle?
A pearl candle is a candle made of plant-based, biodegradable wax beads. Unlike traditional candles, it is refillable, customizable, and can be used in the container of your choice.
How does it work?
- Pour the pearls into a heat-resistant container.
- Plant a straight strand in the center.
- Turn on… and enjoy a unique atmosphere.

Can I reuse an old pot?
Absolutely! It's even one of the biggest advantages. You can transform your old containers into real decorative objects thanks to beads.
How long does it burn?
Each wick lasts between 10 and 12 hours, depending on the type.
And the candle goes out by itself after 12 hours, for added safety.
But like any candle, you always have to keep an eye on it!
Do pearls float?
Yes, but not all of them.
Naturally floating: white, pink, orange, purple.
Other colors are not designed to float.
