INSTRUCTIONS AND SAFETY
Lumea pearl candles are easy to use and offer superior safety compared to traditional candles, provided you follow the instructions. Here's how to make your pearl candles.
- Pour
Preferably use a fireproof container, but any stable and sufficiently large container will do. Ensure the melted wax stays away from the edges to limit heat on the container. Recommended width: at least 10 cm at the narrowest point for a standard Lumea wick. Always test and ensure the container remains cool during use.
2. Insert the cotton wick
Insert the wick, leaving only a 6mm tip of the beads protruding, just enough to light it. Make sure you have at least 5cm of beads around the wick and at least 1cm of beads under the wick.
2. Insert the wooden wick
The wooden wick should be pushed in fully, leaving only a small end (approximately 3 mm) protruding. Ensure the Lumea logo is facing downwards for correct orientation.
3. Light your candle
When the wick is correctly positioned in your pearl candle, it provides a burn time of up to 12 hours.

The wick of Lumea pearl candles will only stay lit when the flame reaches the beads. Remember to hold the flame on the wick for a few seconds longer than with a cotton wick to ensure optimal combustion.

You can add compatible fragrance oils near the wick BEFORE lighting, taking all necessary precautions. Each fragrance oil has a different effectiveness, so test several scents until you find the one that meets your expectations. Caution: Never add essential or fragrance oils while the candle is lit, as these oils are highly flammable. Any customization (fragrance, color, addition of oils) is done under the sole responsibility of the user.
