Wicks
Description
Wicks are included with all of our pearl candle products, but if you feel you need additional wicks, you can purchase this additional pack of 30 cotton wicks or 20 wooden wicks.
Each wick is approximately 5 cm long and provides approximately 12 hours of burn time for cotton wicks and 10 hours for wooden wicks. You can relight the same wick as many times as you like until it hardens, or replace the wick to refresh your candle.
Burning time
Burn time varies greatly depending on usage. Do you use one or more wicks at a time? Do you relight the same wick or replace it to refresh your candle? How long do you burn your candle before refreshing it? That said, Lumea burns slower than conventional candles and offers up to 120 hours of burn time—longer than most candles.

FAQ – Everything you need to know about Pearl Candles
What is a pearl candle?
A pearl candle is a candle made of plant-based, biodegradable wax beads. Unlike traditional candles, it is refillable, customizable, and can be used in the container of your choice.
How does it work?
- Pour the pearls into a heat-resistant container.
- Plant a straight strand in the center.
- Turn on… and enjoy a unique atmosphere.
Infinitely rechargeable: add more beads + a new wick!
Can I reuse an old pot?
Absolutely! It's even one of the biggest advantages. You can transform your old containers into real decorative objects thanks to beads.
Which wick should I choose?
- Wooden wick: soft crackling, lasts approximately 10 hours.
- Cotton wick: more classic flame, lasts approximately 12 hours.
To be adapted according to the size of your container.
How long does it burn?
Each wick lasts between 10 and 12 hours, depending on the type.
And the candle goes out by itself after 12 hours, for added safety.
But like any candle, you always have to keep an eye on it!
Do pearls float?
Yes, but not all of them.
Naturally floating: white, pink, orange, purple.
Other colors are not designed to float.
Can I mix colors?
Yes, absolutely! Create your own style:
- Degraded
- Layers
- Themes by season or atmosphere
